I have been dreaming about climbing on this beautiful new Hampsten ride for months...and today I finally took her for the maiden voyage....an 85 km favourite climb with 4500 ft of climbing.
AMAZING.
Really responsive! My past two carbon frames have not been lively at all so it was fun to discover that I love the feel of steel - I know, I know, steel is real but I wasn't sure how it would feel to me after plastic/carbon bikes. The wheels too -so nice, I can feel that difference too. The fit is spot on. And the paint job is really cool. It turned out so well! Love the matching red hubs--like I said when I saw the pic, I am soooo not cool enough to ride a bike this hip!
