I know there are quality racing frames with head angles that vary all over the place. I'm just curious as to why this head angle was chosen rather than the ubiquitous 73 degree head angle.

Care to comment on it, and the fork rake?

I look at the front center number - anything below 58cm makes me want to figure out the best way to avoid toe overlap. And I'm liking the slacker HTA/more fork rake combo for some builds these days - the bike Dario did for me had that combo and I found it worked quite well.
