Dave's Tournesol

This is a bike we did for local guy Dave, across the hall at 327 Words. Good guy, rides a lot, wanted a commuting/sport bike for fenders and a rear bag. We used an old Motobecane paint scheme as a starting point and I think it works well with the decals and for this style of build. The rack design is one we swiped from Toei, note traditional cable stops front and rear.

Dave loves the bike, btw. It took a while to build.

Frame by Curt Goodrich, rack and assembly by Dan Boxer, paint by Russ Pickett, conception by Dave, production HampCo.

Wow Steve, this is a bang-up bike. Russ did a lovely job (as did everyone) on this bike.
