Relentlessly

The old never-ending quest for perfection in an obviously imperfect world... but I sure like this one. Have had several great rides on it already, looking forward to many more.

The frame uses Spirit4Lugs main tubes and seat stays, Zona chainstays, and a Ritchey Road Disc fork with a straight 1.125" steerer for a minimal look and maximal comfort. I designed the frame around 28mm tires but it will accept 32mm tires easily, so it meets my idea of versatility: being able to take a 28 OR 32. It came in just a touch over 18 pounds (8.2 kilos in Euro-speak) and it has a great ride: plenty stiff up front and nice sense of comfort over the rough stuff. It's definitely designed as a road bike, not a gravel bike, but will work on gravel or unpavement as needed.

Parts are Ultegra 11 with Industry Nine carbon wheels, Eriksen post - the usual suspects. Frame welded by Jason Grove, paint by Eric Dungey, logos by Paul Barnes.
